[ITALIA] Monica Cattarossi was born in Treviso, Italy and currently has an active professional career in Milan, which combines a number of areas – solo performances, chamber performances, Lieder performances and accompaniment. She has given numerous concerts and recitals in Italy and abroad.She has collaborated with outstanding artists such as Salvatore Accardo, Julius Berger, Mario Brunello, Bruno Cavallo, Ana Chumachenko, Rocco Filippini, Thomas Friedli, Karine Georgian, Peter-Lukas Graf, Michail Kugel, Franco Petracchi, Dora Schwartzberg. During last Rostropovich competition in Paris M. Rostropovich applauded her performance. |

NALIVKINA Eugenia
[RUSSIA] She was born in 1981 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She began her studies of the piano at the age of 5 years old. In 1996 she finished the music school, in 2000 she graduated with honors in the “Music College of Rimsky-Korsakov” and entered in the “Conservatory of Rimsky-Korsakov”. Her teachers were Vladimir Shaken and Vladimir Mishuk for the piano and Natalia Arzumanova for the chamber music. During her studies she won the scholarship of A. Glazunov in Monaco (Germany). In 2005 she received the scholarship from the Ministry of the Culture for study in Italy, with Pier Narciso Masi in the International Academy of Music of Imola (Italy). She frequented the course of the chamber music for 2 years and she graduated with honors in 2007 with one year in advance. She won the numerous competitions like: 2 diploma and the special prize from the foundation of Irina Bogaciova on the International Competition for the Voice and Piano “Three centuries of the romance classic”;Saint- Petersburg, 2003-2004; 3th prize of the International Competition for the chamber music “A.G.I.M.U.S.”, Roma 2005; 1th prize of the National Competition for the chamber music “Dino Caravita”, Fusignano (Ravenna) 2006; 2th prize of the International Competition of the chamber music “Rami Musicali”, Cerreto Guidi (Firenze), 2006; 1th prize of the International Competition for the chamber music “Nuovi Orizzonti”, ‘A.G.I.M.U.S.”, Arezzo, 2006. Together with the singers of the theater Mariinsky of Saint-Petersburg she recorded CD for “Record”. For 5 years, 2000-2005, worked like the pianist in the theatre “Saint-Petersburg Operà”. During the last 3 years she do the part of the DUO ATRIUM with Elena Giri. Together they recorded CD and DVD demo. She participated in the numerous master classes with the teachers like Alfredo Perl (Germany), Alfredo Persichilly (Italy), Anna Lisa Bellini (Italy), Tim Vogler and Frank Reinecke (Germany), Tonino Riolo (Italy), Alexander Lonquich (Italy). Also she participate in many festivals like “ The International Festival of the Theaters” in Moscow (Russia) , “International Festival of Beethoven” in Sutri (Italy), “Review International of Marostica” (Italy), “Festival Assisi in the World” in Assisi (Italy). She worked like the pianist for the master class of M° Di Tommaso, M° Trevisani, M° Montafia in Italy and for the competitions like “Società Umanitaria” a Milano and “Soloists of Fano” (Pesaro). Actually she studies at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto (Italy) with M° Filippo Faes for the chamber music. Works like the presenter of YAMAHA MUSIC ITALY. |

BETTA Marco
[ITALIA] Betta, Marco (b. 1964, Enna). Italian composer of mostly stage, orchestral, chamber, and choral works that have been performed throughout Europe. Mr. Betta studied composition with Eliodoro Sollima at the Conservatorio V. Bellini in Palermo. He subsequently studied with Armando Gentilucci in Florence and with Salvatore Sciarrino at the Accademia di Città di Castello. He has received commissions from the Teatro Bellini in Catania and he represented Italy at the UNESCO International Rostrum of Composers (1988, Maiores umbræ). He is also active in other positions. He served as coordinator of the Centro di Documentazione della Musica Contemporanea of CIMS from 1988-93 and as artistic director of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo from 1994-2002 and was a member of the Commissione musica of SIAE from 1995-2000. In addition to the works listed below, Mr. Betta has written much incidental music and many film scores since 1984, including works for Roberto Andò, Micha van Hoecke, Piero Maccarinelli, and Lamberto Puggelli. Ricordi and Sonzogno publish most of his music, but B&W Italia publishes E in realtà C in sogno..., Sabaoth e Sammael and Bellini, ultime luci. |
